Alexandra Klass

Alexandra B. Klass is a Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School.  She teaches and writes in the areas of environmental law, energy law, natural resources law, tort law and property law. She has written articles for many notable publications and is a Teacher of the Year award recipient.  Prior to her teaching career, she was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Minneapolis specializing in environmental law and land use litigation.  She received her J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.A. degree with distinction from the University of Michigan.  She was a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara B. Crabb on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Professor Klass is a member scholar at the Center for Progressive Reform in Washington, D.C. and a research fellow at the University of Minnesota's Institute on the Environment.
