Natural Places and Wildlife

The forests up north, the shorelands around our lakes and rivers, the unique fens and other wetlands, these are the places most people expect an environmental group to be working. We agree.

We know the remaining prairies and wetlands, as well as our forests, are home to thousands of animal and plant species. If the habitat is not protected, those species will die out and with them the beauty and grandeur of nature that we have all come to enjoy.
