People need options for getting around, especially in the Twin Cities. Relying exclusively on private automobiles and a bus system that frequently suffers cuts in service has left the metropolitan area with heavy rush hour congestion and air pollution alerts several times a year.

Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy lobbies the government at all levels to add light rail lines, commuter rail lines and improve bus service, while also making it easier for people to walk and bicycle to their destinations.
