Earth Day Market and Beer Launch at Minneapolis’ 56 Brewing

1-6pm, Saturday, April 22nd

Public Access IPA is back for Earth Week! This beer was made in collaboration with 56 Brewing to raise awareness about clean water and access to the Mississippi River. A portion of sales support MCEA’s work. Join MCEA from 1-6pm Saturday, April 22nd for the launch at 56 Brewing in Northeast Minneapolis  – we’ll have a table set up + there will be local makers, a food truck, and of course, plenty of Public Access available for purchase.

Come hang out with us on Earth Day. Your sip supports MCEA!

If you can’t make it, but still want to support our work, make a donation today.

earthfest

Join our Northeast Minnesota Staff at the Iron Range Earth Fest

9am-3pm, Saturday, April 22nd

MCEA is proud to again sponsor the Iron Range Earth Fest – the Range’s largest sustainability fair! Join the fun and stop by our booth on Saturday, April 22nd at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota.

Earth Fest will be a day full of music, exhibits, speakers and more. A couple things we are excited about: free electronics recycling (so bring your old laptop!), and some powerful speakers – including Maria Jensen from Repowered who we featured on a Mining the Climate Crisis webinar last year.

Staff from MCEA’s Duluth office will have a table set up with a hands on activity and information about our work in Northeast Minnesota. Stop by, say hi, and grab a sticker! We hope to see you there.

earth week actions

Earth Week Online Actions

Our online actions are a quick and easy way to advocate on Earth Week. These pre-filled (but customizable) messages will get sent to your elected officials on key environmental issues. Take action today. Looking to go the extra mile? Share one of these actions with a friend!

Tell your Minnesota Senator to vote YES on the Next Generation Climate Action

The Next Generation Climate Act updates Minnesota's climate targets based on the best and most current science and then requires action to meet these goals.

Help pass a law that would give downstream communities more say on agricultural pollution

The Legislature is considering a bill that would make it easier for residents, local governments, tribal nations, and water suppliers impacted by ag. pollution to weigh in on the permitting processes.

We need your help to get toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” off Minnesota shelves

Minnesota has a PFAS problem. Tell your legislator to act on current legislation to get these toxic “forever chemicals” out of our state.

Your Senator is a key vote on landmark environmental justice policy – support Cumulative Impacts legislation

Tell your legislators to support legislation that provides stronger protections for communities already overburdened with pollution.

Hennepin County Residents: tell commissioners to include closure date for HERC in Zero Waste Plan

Tell your commissioner to include a shutdown date for the toxic HERC trash incinerator in the County's waste management vision.

However you decide to celebrate the planet this Earth Week, we know you'll make a difference. Thank you for your continued support and engagement with our work.
